Call recording notice

Last updated: September 19, 2026

Every appointment-confirmation call placed through the app is recorded and turned into a written transcript.

This page explains why we record, who can listen, and what you are responsible for before you call.

1. What is recorded

Every call you place through the app to confirm an appointment with a homeowner is recorded as audio and converted into a written transcript. This applies to every confirmation call, not just some of them.

2. Who is told, and how

You are told in the app, before and during the call, that the call is recorded.

We do not play an automated recording message to the homeowner. You are the one speaking to them. Where the law requires everyone on a call to agree to a recording, you must tell the homeowner at the start of the call that it is recorded, and continue only if they agree.

3. Why we record

  • As proof of what was said if a charge is disputed, for example whether an appointment was really confirmed or declined.
  • For quality review, including the automated check that looks for a locked detail (last name, street address, phone number, or email) being asked for or shared off script.
  • To train our own reviewers on what good and bad calls sound like.

4. Who can listen

You, the closer who placed the call, can listen to and read the transcript of your own call only after that appointment has been charged.

Our staff who perform quality review can access recordings and transcripts as part of that review.

5. How long we keep recordings and transcripts

We keep a call recording for 90 days from the start of the recording, and its transcript for 12 calendar months from the same moment. After that they are deleted and can no longer be played or read, by you or by us.

6. Your duty under recording and telemarketing law

Recording-consent and telemarketing laws are different from state to state, and some states require every party on the call to consent before it can be recorded. Before you call a homeowner, you are responsible for knowing and following the laws that apply to you and to the homeowner, in both of your states.
